The obvious answer
When the alarm bells cease...
I dizzily fall into bed again. Acclimate to the shock of being jerked out of a dream. Eventually, sighing, sleepy, I'll turn off the alarm clock and make my way back to reality.
Or... I walk lazily into class, no particular hurry... don't need to impress anybody.
Maybe... I gather up my things and make my way out, or jump off my desk and hurry out of class...
Just a simple... Alert and at ease all at once. A cell phone chirps and my skull, pierced, lets out a sigh of relief and thinks "Refreshing nap..."
And don't forget... BUSTED.

Did someone fall asleep in class today?
Ha, no. And if I did... well like I said, don't need to impress anybody.
